I find it strange too, that abusers get redeemed and the victim is painted in a villain light. It's so backwards. She made her mistakes, just like all the character did, no character is a saint, but she's the only one, who's a bad guy here. Huh. She deserves a redemption as a seperate character more than any of the other diamonds. You may think she already got it, but she still had her mistakes to ammend, like with Pearls, Spinel, Bismuth. And she deserves to look in her's abusers eyes and say that they were so wrong and cruel. It's just my opinion, but it's just sad how a lot of people see her as a villain, but praise Lapis, who was abusive after being a victim too, like, what.

On the point of Spinel - the galaxy warp was destroyed at the end of the war, preventing anyone from warping off-planet. So for over 5000 years Rose literally, physically couldn’t go back for Spinel. I think she planned to get her after the war since Spinel treats everything like a game and would’ve been a liability, but that went out the window after the corruption blast and destruction of any way off-planet.
